Debtor Management

The National Credit Act has established guidelines for dealing with delinquent debtors. These are defined in the Act and are regulated by the Regulator. One of the provisions for debt enforcement gives you the ability to list adverse information regarding consumer behaviour - these services help you manage the process.

Send a Collection Letter

Use this service to send a registered letter to a debtor requesting payment of an outstanding debt. The letter is certified to be compliant with Section 168 of the National Credit Act (Act 34 of 2005) and meets the notice requirements of Section 129 of the same Act.
Service Cost:   600 Legal Credits
  which is R 60.00 excluding VAT

List a Defaulting Debtor

You may use this service to submit a defaulting debtor to TransUnion Credit Bureau so that details of their debt appear as an adverse listing in the national credit databases. This is done in strict accordance with the terms set out in the National Credit Act (Act 34 of 2005).
Service Cost:   200 Legal Credits
  which is R 20.00 excluding VAT
